Monday Announcements:
- The Findlay - Hancock County Chamber is accepting applications for the Hancock Youth Leadership class of 2024? The application deadline is March 17, 2023. If interested please see Mrs. Barnhart.
- There with be an informational meeting on Tuesday at 11 AM in the Abbey Gym with Coach Leuthold for any 8th-11th grade student interested in playing high school volleyball next year.
- The Cory-Rawson Music Boosters are sponsoring a scholarship for any senior who has been a 4 year member of band or choir. Please see Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Glenn or Mrs. Barnhart for an application.
- The 'Hopeful Hornets', partnered with the Hancock Co You Belong Campaign. are bringing 6 Lunch N Learn programs to CR over the next 3 months. Each Lunch N Learn will have a topic, guest speaker, and provided lunch. Our first Lunch N Learn topic on March 8th will be Living through Loss with Guest Kristy from BRIDGE Bereavement Services. Please see your Email for a Google Form to RSVP by Monday March 6th A RSVP is required to attend and be included in the provided lunch.
- Junior high and high school students be on the look out later today or tomorrow for a Google Form in your email. Please answer for the Sports and Entertainment Marketing students.
- There are forms on the counter for boys and girls in 7th and 8th grade that are interested in baseball and softball this summer. Please come pick one up if you are interested.
- Congratulations to the HS Concert Band on receiving a superior rating at the district event on Saturday! This qualified the group to perform at the state level on April 21-22. Great job!
- Congratulations to Becca Ludwig for placing second at State in the Beginning Prepared Public Speaking CDE.
- Congratulations to Hazel Dixon for finishing 14th out of 24th at the State indoor track meet.
Tuesday Additions:
- Juniors, there will be a short class meeting at 12:35pm in the Abbey gym. Please plan to attend during the end of your lunch period.
Wednesday Additions:
- Sophomores, there will be a short meeting this Thursday at the end of lunch. Please attend in the Abbey Gym at 12:30pm.
Thursday Additions:
- Musical tickets are on sale in the office. The musical is Friday, March 24 and Saturday, March 25 at 7:00 pm. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $6 for students and are all general admission.
Friday Additions:
- The Senior Class if sponsoring a March Madness Challenge. Winning Bracket will receive a $50 Visa Gift Card. Brackets can be picked up in the HS office or from a Senior Officer Monday the 13th. Fee and Bracket will need to be turned in Tuesday morning in order to be eligible to win.
- Freshman, there will be a short meeting today, Friday at the end of lunch. Please attend in the Abbey Gym at 12:30pm.
