To enter into this tournament, each team will have to buy in for $20 with prizes of corn hole boards and Chic-fil-a giftcards for winning teams. A taco truck will be present at the event. • In 1999, US Senator Harry Reid introduced a resolution that led to the creation of International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day. Reid lost his father to suicide in 1972 and the cause was close to his heart. It was then designated into Congress and placed before Thanksgiving as the holiday season can be a hard time for survivors. Every year the Saturday before Thanksgiving is set aside to support Survivors Day events all over the world and the peace that it brings.
Today, Hopeful Hornets and Mrs. Price will have Suicide Prevention buttons available at lunch for students to remember loved ones and to honor those that are healing and living in hope.
