Friday Additions:
- Sign up sheets for the games are in the hallway by Mr. Mertz room! Make sure you get signed up! Keep in mind that these games will earn points for each class as part of the spirit week competition!!
- The seniors have painted their parking spots. Please refrain from parking in those painted spots! Thank you for your cooperation.
Thursday Additions:
- Attention juniors and seniors. If you are interested in joining the military after graduation, please consider taking the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test on Thursday October 19th. Please let Mrs. Barnhart know if you are interested or have questions.
- Students who were invited to apply to NHS, please check your email ASAP for important information.
- Students - Today for Empire you will be going to the club or activity that you selected on the google form. Please check your email 4th period for your Empire location.
Wednesday Additions:
- There is a sign-up sheet for athletes interested in wrestling this year on Coach Parkins Door. Room 124.
- The Homecoming Dance will be held for High School students on Saturday, October 7th from 8-11pm.
- Ticket sales for Homecoming will start this Friday and will continue until Wednesday, October 4th. Tickets will be sold during High School lunch. If you are unable to purchase tickets during lunch, please see Mrs. Mohr. If you plan on bringing a guest to the dance from another school, be sure to pick up a guest form from the office.
- There will be a High School student council meeting during lunch on Thursday, September 28th. We will be working on finalizing details for homecoming, so please plan to attend!
- Homecoming Spirit Week!
- Monday- Barbie vs Ken
- Tuesday- rhyme w/o reason; find an outfit someone wants to wear and then finding a rhyme for your partner to make a matching pair.
- Wednesday- stay afloat/Hawaiian day (wear all your swimming/Hawaiian gear. Including pool floaties, just keep those swimsuits at home!!)
- Thursday- Blast the rockets (wear neon/highlighter colors)
- Friday- Green and Gold
Sign up sheets for lunch time games will be up so look for those at the end of the week! We will be playing corn hole and dodgeball before the bonfire and that sign up sheet will also be up by the end of the week.
- Bonfire Change!! To accommodate game schedules this year the dodgeball/corn hole tournament and bonfire will take place on TUESDAY instead of Thursday. The tournament will start at 6:30, and bonfire at 8:30
Tuesday Additions:
- If you would like to purchase a t-shirt or sweatshirt for our Breast Cancer Awareness football game against Crestline, please stop in the high school office to pick up a form. All forms are due by Monday, Oct. 2!
Monday Announcements:
- Softball open fields will be on Tuesday evenings from 5-6:30 PM.
- The Yearbook Staff is selling a variety of chocolate bars for $1. Find a yearbook member to buy your chocolate. You can also buy chocolate from Mrs. Cuellar
- It is required for seniors to have their photos taken on Tuesday's Picture Day in order to appear on the senior wall composite. Males must wear a collared shirt with tie and females must wear a dress blouse or sweater with a modest neckline. This is required of all seniors.
- Students, please check your email to see which teacher you will be reporting to for Empire. If you do not have an email, please email Mrs. Gerten.
- Boys basketball open gyms will be on Wednesday's from 6:45-8 pm
