Thursday Additions:
- Sophomores, reminder that your OSU Raffle Ticket Stubs and Money are due this Friday the 6th. 5 more days to sell! If you are interested in purchasing raffle tickets for a chance to win TWO tickets to the Ohio State vs Penn State football game, see a sophomore today!
- There is a sign up sheet on Mr. Mertz's door for high school quiz bowl. Any interested student please sign up!
- Tomorrow we will run an empire schedule, going to 8th during empire.
Wednesday Additions:
- Calling all junior high students! It's time to get FCH started! We will be kicking it off with a Fall Fun Night on October 14 from 4:00-8:00PM at Mr. and Mrs. Lee's house. Join us for food, fun, games, and fellowship, and meet this year's FCH leaders. We hope to see you there!
- There will be a meeting on Tuesday during EMPIRE for all Junior High girls playing basketball this year. The meeting will be in the upstairs commons area.
- Cake eating contest is today!! 12:30 in the abbey gym. We will snap a quick group pic of everyone dressed up and then eat some cake!! In 1st place we currently have the juniors with 379 points. 2nd place with 294 points is seniors. 3rd place with 173 points is the sophomores and in last is the freshmen with 155 points.
- If any athlete is interested in Wrestling, there is a sign-up sheet on Coach Parkins door
Tuesday Additions:
- This is the last week to buy chocolate bars from the Yearbook staff! Make sure you get your chocolate before they run out.
Monday Announcements:
- If you would like to purchase a t-shirt or sweatshirt for our Breast Cancer Awareness football game against Crestline, please stop in the high school office to pick up a form. All forms are due by Monday, Oct. 2!
- The Homecoming Dance will be held for High School students on Saturday, October 7th from 8-11pm.
Ticket sales for Homecoming will start this Friday and will continue until Wednesday, October 4th. Tickets are $10 each and will be sold during High School lunch. Please do not bring bills larger than a $20. If you are unable to purchase tickets during lunch, please see Mrs. Mohr. If you plan on bringing a guest to the dance from another school, be sure to pick up a guest form from the office. - Congrats to Connor Sons and Connor Reese on winning the SRO award for demonstrating outstanding behavior.
- Liberty Benton High School will be hosting FREE ACT Prep on Tuesday October 10th and Thursday October 12th from 7-9:30pm each night. Students can choose two 70 minute sessions each night in the testing areas of English, Reading, Mathematics and Science.
- NHS and NJHS emails will be sent out this Wednesday evening or Thursday morning. Please ask Mrs. Stockwell if you have any questions.
- The High School Fellowship of Christian Hornets group will kick off this school year by meeting this Wednesday, October 4th during lunchtime in Mrs. Bucher's room. Come meet your leaders for the year and help guide planning for the upcoming year! If attending our meeting, please go to the start of the lunch line so that you may get to the meeting in a timely fashion! See you Wednesday for discussion, fun, and fellowship
- The seniors have painted their parking spots. Please refrain from parking in those painted spots! Thank you for your cooperation.
